It is amazing how strangers think they have the right to offer comments like this. Just…plain…silly!

I’m so with you. I have a four year old with SPD and I suspect asperger’s but haven’t been able to get doctor’s to look that direction. Anyways, I get comments from strangers and even family about the potty situation even though he is making progress. Heaven forbid someone fall outside the “norm”. And I get so tired of explaining that he is delayed.

I am right there with you dearie – we had double meltdowns in Barnes and Noble this morning – as they boys are nearly 8 and six and a half, they are really loud and I can’t physically carry both of them now [even if it wasn't against the rules] The ‘tut tutting’ was nearly as deafening, the scowling looks.
Do I care? Not one jot [well maybe a little] as now I am the proud possessor of Rhino hide and a plastic Rhino horn to wave to people in a non-threatening manner – would you like to borrow it?
