Mycoplasma pneumoniae

Mycoplasma pneumoniae is the little bacteria responsible for my daughter’s pneumonia.  It is sometimes referred to as atypical or walking pneumonia and many times patients do not need pharmacalogical interventions.  My daughter is not one of these.  She was first given Rocephin followed by amoxicillin and then finally Zithromax.  Our pediatrician mentioned mycoplasma pneumonia during [...]
