Alexander is a rules guy – he loves making them and follows them almost to a fault. Last night was a rule-making night:
1. Pay 50 cents to enter my room.
2. You must have an invitation to enter a party in my room.
His wooden alligator bank was sitting at the entrance to his room ready to eat the $0.50 admission fee from anyone that wanted to enter. He told me he is saving money for college and figures with $0.50 from everyone that goes in his room, he should be set by the time he’s 18.
Oh, and the first party is scheduled for January 20, Inauguration Day. If you’re in the neighborhood and want an invitation to this exclusive party, let me know – but don’t forget your $0.50 cover charge!

Gosh now there’s a chap who should go far. Wish I’d had that much wherewithal when I was that age,……I’d be a millionaire!
Cheers
Smarter, not harder, ma! Love it!
D’oh, I left out the reason for the cover charge – he told me he was saving money for college.
