What a great post! My son is 8, and I secretly ask myself what will happen when he’s older, if he will continue to do well at school, with friendships, etc. You answer a lot of these questions for me! Thanks!

Wow, what an incredible post. I know two mom who have boys, both boys have autism but both boys are really what they label as “high functioning” ONe of the boys is now about 17 and he is amazing to speak with. I’ve spent hours sitting and talking with him. It’s interesting how employers can look for the very traits that those with autism might have. I stopped by today as I’m working on visiting the many blogs from Bloggy Carnival now that I have time to read and comment.

Cale…that was absolutely brilliant…and just what I–as a mom with a not-diagnosed-but-quirky kid, who is just 8 years old and whose future I tend to spend waaaaaaay too much time worrying about–needed to hear today. Thank you!
