Attention Arizona Early Intervention Clients – Past and Current

by Melissa on March 16, 2009

Lorraine Ciavola of Head to Toe, Inc, a local therapy center, contacted me last week after reading my open message to Governor Jan Brewer. The owner of Head to Toe, Inc has secured a face-to-face meeting with Governor Brewer on Wednesday and would like to bring stories and pictures of EI clients, past and current, to the Governor. I am posting this with permission – here is the email from Lorraine:

You are welcome to post on your blog and email group that we are looking for families stories on what EI has done for their child and what it would mean if services would end. It just needs to be a short paragraph and a picture would be great. We are going to put this together to leave with the governor.

We would need the information by Tuesday morning, the latest. All info can be emailed to me. Please, call with any questions. Thank you for doing that. Even with the injunction in place, we don’t know if that will stay or not or when the appeal will take place.
