I was researching a topic to post on the Mother Nature Network and came across a news report on CNN.com that a Texas woman has died from the swine flu, making it the second death to occur in the United States.
A Texas woman with pre-existing health problems has died from the swine flu, state medical officials said Tuesday. The woman, from Cameron County in south Texas, died earlier this week, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Source: CNN
I heard on the radio this morning that non-swine flu strains of Influenza cause over 30,000 deaths annually in the United States. Just some food for thought…
