I just saw a link to this article posted on a message board I frequent. The article, ‘Miracle drug’ called junk science

Long-time readers of my blog know that I’m pretty much anti-cure but reading this article just made me absolutely sick to my stomach. So I kind of understand the vitamin/supplement thing – not from a cure standpoint but hey, it might help a person feel better. The B12 shots make me squeamish to think about but it’s a vitamin (albeit in a high dose and via injection) but Lupron…seriously? This is sickening.

Denis Leary is, and has always been, an ass in my book.  He’s not a funny ass – he’s just an ass.  In his new book, he is evidently trying to speed up his rise to the throne as the King of Asses.

“There is a huge boom in autism right now because inattentive mothers and competitive dads want an explanation for why their dumb-ass kids can’t compete academically, so they throw money into the happy laps of shrinks . . . to get back diagnoses that help explain away the deficiencies of their junior morons. I don’t give a what these crackerjack whack jobs tell you – yer kid is NOT autistic. He’s just stupid. Or lazy. Or both.”

Okay so my autistic son with a gifted IQ is stupid? My autistic son who’s lowest score on his 1st quarter report card was a 94% is stupid? My autistic son who hasn’t missed a spelling word since spelling tests started over a year ago is stupid? No Mr. Leary – your negative ass is stupid.
